Its a JDM unit...its been in production for quite a few years in Japan actually.....

At this moment the finest sounding cd player I have personally heard....and thats a long list. Sucker hates scratched cd's though..

Currently.......Eclipse CD8445. Many before the aforementioned.

Alpine CDA-7873, good sound but I am just now taking the time to figure out how to get the best out of it as I am all the time changing amps and speakers all around. I Am looking for a remote control for this unit. Does anyone know which model number alpine remotes will work with this unit. Thanks!

I have an Alpine IVA-D300. The best head unit I have ever owned.

i have a alpine 9853, but in my new truck i am getting a avn6600 when they come out. scosche makes a sick double din dash kit for the new one. then later i am going to have to get the zapco deck when the finished products are being made.
