i have a kenwood kvt-512 this thing is sweet. everything from dvd to ipod to navi. plus the kenwood in dash dvd units are the only brand that has a metal basket bracketing system to house the screen that comes out. all other brands have plastic brackets that can break very easily.

2nd: Eclipse 8443...loved it(got stolen)
3rd: Pioneer 880PRS...good features, had the little "noise" issue
4th: Eclipse 8053...once again, love my eclipse decks.
I have an 8443 in my Civic as well. I always end up going back to 8V Eclipse decks...
i've had sum old pos clarion. then a kenwood excelon deck single din. still have it, not sure of model but its quite nice. now I have another kenwood excelon deck double din. its great, again for the model it was last years 2nd top of the line.

Pioneer DEH-P4700MP all the way. It has blown speaker outputs, but the preamps still work, so i'm just running my whole system thru amps. Best part: bought it for $5 at a car show swap meet, great condition except for the speaker outputs.

pioneer always, the best in my opinion. Currently own a pioneer 800prs
Was a fan of Alpine, now I'm done. With this new line everything short of the 9887 is a CD player with bass and treble controls until you pay alot more money ontop of the cost of the head unit. They're no longer building things into the head unit that alot of other manufacturers do now. That's getting a little old for me. The mid and upper range Eclipses are looking VERY **** to me now.
