    uninstall

    hello can anyone tell me how to uninstall a cd player radio from my dash

    i have never replaed the stereo but i am buying a new one soon so i would like to get the old one out thanks alot

    You might want to specify the car you have. Maybe someone here have the same car as you and know how to dismantle the dash.

    In that case, you need the removal keys for the head unit. Is it factory, or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what brand?

    Fords are easy

    Buy a set of these: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-JgfGrxY...20865618&g=754

    Insert them into the holes on the outer edges of the radio, and pull the radio out.

    Remove wiring harness from back, along with antenna, and it should be out....

    Or just take a wire coat hanger, cut two pieces about 8-10" long and bend into U shape.
