    Nakamichi CD400

What do you guys think of this unit?

    http://www.woofersetc.com/product.as...ddtocartmess=1

I did some research and I found that some units have problems reading CDs or skipping when you go over bumps, but since this is a refurb do you think these problems have been taken care of, and wouldn’t reappear in the future?

I have not had any problems and I have been selling these for a while, but I would NEVER buy a refurb of anything.

That simply means that they THINK they fixed it, but if they were sure, it would have the "new" warranty - which it doesn't have.

I think I would take my $300 and buy a deck that is new in the box and NOT a refurb. Just my opinion.

    Source Unit: Pioneer P9 combo
    Tweeters: CDT DRT-25 Silk
    Mids: CDT ES-5 (5.25")
    Midbass: CDT M6 (6.5")
    Subs: Pioneer TS-W12PRS
Mid & Tweet amp: Pioneer PRS-X340
    Midbass Amp: Pioneer PRS-X720
    Sub Amp: Pioneer PRS-X720

    x2

$300 will get you one heckuva nice deck from several different manufacturers. Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, whatever's your preference I think for that kinda $$ I wouldn't buy refurbed when there's really no good reason for it.
