Guess what guys I found out how to watch movies on the AVIC-N2 while your driving, its soo simple I don't know how I never thought of it earlier.
I should be selling this info on ebay with the special piece you need to get it to work and make some money but ill just tell ya how right here.
Since the AVIC-N2 operates differently from every other in dash dvd player by the fact that it uses the gyro built into the brain unit to sense speed, when speed is sensed passed 5mph it will turn off the dvd or any video displayed on the LCD to audio only EXPCEPT for rear seat viewers which can be activated by pressing the rear seat button on the head unit which would send the DVD's video to headrests LCDs for example.
What you need to do is use a normal yellow RCA plug and loop it from the brain units rear seat out to the REAR CAMERA INPUT. Pioneer left out one little thing, they allowed the so called rear camera input to be viewed at all times on the indash unit so by switching the unit to view rear camera you will actually be wathing your DVD and the cool thing about this is that you can have 1/4 of the screen display navigation and the other 3/4 display you movie if you wanted.
Its as easy as that!!!
I can't believe no audio shops in AZ have figured this out yet or any forums on the net this is the first time its been posted LOL
