    Alpine Wiring Harness help!

    What up guys,

I recently purchased a Alpine 9853 floor model for a decent price from a Tweeter going out of business. The problem is it did not come with a wiring harness so I have to purchase one on my own. Local shops in my area in my brief search do not carry the harness. So I am forced to keep searching locally or find one online or through Alpine. My question is does the newer Alpine units use the same wiring harnesses or are the harnesses model specific? Alpine's site does mention a part supply no. and website but the site did not have the wire harness listed.

Searching online I found these at installer.com

    Model ALP16a-00

    Model wha16

I also found this cheaper at sonicelectronix with no pic so I can't tell which one it is similar to

    Al16

If anyone knows which harness would fit the 9853 and work correctly let me know. As of right now I am leaning towards AlP16a-00 so anybody with experience with the 9853 feel free to post.

    Re: Alpine Wiring Harness help!

    Good find bonesninga,

**** that was fast! I searched ebay but I guess my searched text was limited to the specific model. I will give the seller a couple questions because he mentioned if the pin connector was black I should use black and from that I should use the black 16 pin v drive version. Which also is the version he doesn't have currently checking his ebay store. But once again thanks man I will contact the seller and see how soon he can get the one i need in if that is too long I will just purchase the black version off of installer.com
