bought a Kenwood Excelon KDC-589

I found a Kenwood Excelon KDC-589 for $123 on ebay. The JVC I bought last year had a melt down. I figure if I install it and don't like it I can sell it for near what I paid. I hope it has good radio reception the JVC was crap for AM?FM reception. As far as features like 4V out and burr brown DAC nothing even comes close at this price range. What sold me is you can turn off the internal amp, that should help the SQ and greatly extend the life of the head unit. I'll post a review when I install it if anyone is interested.

The FM mono sensitivity on all of Kenwood's HUs is 9.3dBf. Yes, there are some tuners out there that are better but not too many.
