Quality of TFT's and LCD's

well, paycheck is coming and i wanna find out what makes the initial "quality" of a screen. Now, i researched a **** load of screens. From 7401's, to Power Acoustiks, Alpines, Pyles (i know right?), and Pioneers.

They all are say 6.5-7"

1440x234 pixels

motorized screen.

But all aside, how do you find out which screens have better quality than others? Right now i am in the market for a 7401 or a Power Acsoutik.

ok so how do i tell the difference in quality from each manufactured unit? they're all 1440x234 pixels.

Pyles (i know right?).

dont just take word of mouth that Pyle monitors are junk. while I dont have a pyle motorized monitor I do have Pyle headrest monitors and I can tell you the picture quality is worlds better than power akoustics stand alone/headrest monitors (have one of those to in my visor) and have more features too. In fact the pic quality in the size I have is better than or equal to every brand you listed and I paid all of $110 each for em. The actual LCD is made by Sharp (just like alot of the other name brands).

yeah but i wanna stay away from pyle since there sub and amp brands are well... ...overrated. I'll take into account for the Pyle monitor though, maybe i can spray paint the logo if i am willing to get the Pyles, lol.

so far looking into this, theres little to no info on the net about these but my friend in HK say they are great.

sounds like you want a motorized indash? get an alpine d300 they are toooo freakin cheap to not get one...

so many factors between each lcd.. make sure you do get a TFT lcd...

each company has subtle difference in their lcds like backlight brightness, screen reflection etc..

all the lowend screens are basically the same.. power acoustic, nesa, farenheit the best at a cheap price...

i wouldnt touch anything out right now cept alpine the screen brightness,sharpness blows me away beats any screen especially in daylight/direct sunlight...

and i definately would not buy pioneer unless its a n2... pioneer has the WOOOOORST lcds... pisses me right off.
