    Kenwood KDC 715s

    I have a Kenwood Deck and suddenly the face does not rotate correctly, anyone know a fix for this or know arround how much id be looking at to get the thing fixed.

    Don't touch it!. get your reciept and go to a certified repair shop and ask them.
    If you start messing around with it you may make it worse and cost yourself more money, if its a manufacturing flaw you maybe able to get it repaired for free.

    D-Mask+, unfortunately, was one of Kenwood's least well thought-out designs. (hence the discontinuation of the same) The most common problem associated with that mechanism is that the ribbon cable comes unattached from one end or the other. It's normally a $60 ~ $80 repair by an authorized repair person/place. I'm a die-hard Kenwood loyalist but I wouldn't have one of those decks coz they're plagued with problems.

    problem with my reciept is i picked it up at a yard sale the guy told me it had problems was only 10 bucks but i figured if i can get it fixed for under 100 it would be worth it.

    not hot it was a friend and in thier car, its amasing how much people always assume somethings stolen when its cheap, after all its broke and he has no mechanical ability.
