pioneer 880prs for sale

Pioneer 880 prs (technically, the model number is DEH-P880PRS).

Includes the unit itself, faceplate, faceplate holder, remove control, trim ring, wiring harness, RCA harness, manual and installation manual, microphone (for auto EQ/TA). Also includes a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter and 3.5 mm cable, allowing you to plug anything with a standard headphone jack into the AUX input in the faceplate, and an IPBus to RCA adapter. Does NOT include the metal cage the unit slides into as that is still in my dash.

Item(s) Description/Condition:

used, but good. Functionality is all there. Cosmetically, there are some light scratches on the face from normal use. Only thing worth mentioning is that the pico fuse has been BYPASSED (which is far, far different from being blown!!!). I had to replace it a few times and I eventually got sick of it so I had my repair guy solder across it so I wouldn't have to deal with it.

Yes in the entertainment menu you can select to display voltage as your screen. I have same unit using the voltage display. Wish I had the microphone and bypassed pico. Glws great unit I paid 200 shipped for mine and its not as nice as this one.

I always loved this unit, but the pico fuse noise issue always made me nervous. What does bypassing do so you dont have the issue? It sounds like the fuse is still there, but it sounds like you have no noise issues?

right. The original pico fuse was surface-mount and at some point my repair guy used a through-hole fuse. So to "bypass" it he just put some solder on top of the fuse that bridges the leads. Thus, making the connection that the fuse used to make, which means there's no noise, and I should never have to worry about the fuse issue again.
