Very cool! If only the software/hardware didn't cost $300+....
I bought a Behringer ECM8000 RTA mic for $50 and you can get M-audio mobile USB pre-amps on ebay for around $100. Using these with a laptop you have a pretty accurate RTA (I'm hoping). My mic and pre-amp get here in a few days so I'll report back if the results are positive.
