Help me solve prollem with friends buzzing noise

Ok, I'm assuming its alternator whine but I wanna double check with other people.

He steps on the gas, and the buzzing is coming through his speakers and the buzzing goes along with his RPM's. His wires are no where near eachother.

    Alternator whine, yes?

What can he do about this too?

3-11-05....I walk up to an old man looking for a toner cartridge.

Me: Something I can help you with today?
Him: Well....It looks like you've made an executive decision to screw me.
(Obviously didn't find what he was looking for although funny as hell)

unplug the RCA's from the amp, noise still there? If so, regrund the amp. Make sure there is not paint at the ground point, and use a well crimped/soldered ring connector and stainless steel screw.

If the noise disappears, reground the HU. Follow the same procedure as above.

That kind of whine is caused by difference in the amount of resistance between electrical components. Long story short, improve upon your connection to ground.

Yes, that is alt whine, just FYI.
