When he turns up the volume the power light flickers...

I was talking to my friend online and he said:

"when i turn it on low the sub hits fine but once i get the volume too high the amp light starts flickering everytime it should hit and the sub thuds then goes out"

I thought it was a problem with the ground but others didnt agree.

    Whats up with it?

^ that and it is possible that the sub isnt handling the power the amp is puttin out and is clippin. Im gessin that u mean the protect led is flickering. If its the power led flickering then it is something with the power supply. Another thing is the ohm load.
