Icon32 Q-Logic Kick Panels... buy locally?

I'm looking to buy kick panels for my accord since my 6.5's are too deep to fit in the doors and i don't want to add mdf and stuff to the doors. Are there any local stores that carry q-logic kick panels? I was thinking Circuit City since they sell q-logic sub boxes, but im not sure.

nope. my 5.25's barely fit. you will have to do some modifying to fit 6.5's and would be easier to make mdf baffles and fit the speakers in the doors.

technically u arent modding anything, all u would be doin is making a spacer which mounts the exact same as the speaker...

Re: Q-Logic Kick Panels... buy locally?

whats the mounting depth on those? cardomain told me the q-logics fit 6.5 outer diameter and mounting depth of 3 inches, both of which were lies. u'd be lucky if u could fit 6.5's in there, and i even raised the mounting depth of the q-logics by 3/4 inch and my 2.8" mounting depth mids didnt fit. $130 down the drain...i would only suggest 5 1/4's, otherwise made spacers for the doors. its not even hard.

that is a 5.25 mid in there. notice how there isn't really much more room to expand. also the mounting depth is shallow. also notice the door. all that is needed is a simple mdf ring. you'll save over $100.

Re: Q-Logic Kick Panels... buy locally?

I have not experience what so ever and i was able to do this

The total cost for this was $3.64 the price of 3/4" MDF at home depo. They made the straight cuts for me 8"x9" and then i went to a furniture store and asked them if they would mind cutting the hole for me. They did it for no charge.

Don't punish you ears with midioker speakers because your lazy.
