Need setup with JL Sub

Okay, I just want to know this ahead of time. I know for a fact that I'm getting my new car this year. A Subaru WRX. I figured I'd put a decent system in it. I'm not going all out on it, though. I just wanna put a sub and an amp to power it. I was thinking a 10w6v2 would get the job done. I know the Watt handling is 500. So, that's about it. A 10w6v2 and an amp. Any suggestions? If you think I should use a different sub (I prefer JL), then let me know. By the way, it's gonna be more of a race car than a show car. I just want good quality sound. A good balance would be nice. Thanks for your help.

10w6v2 on a 500/1?

I use to have a 10w6v2 and it had excellent sound quality but it did not get loud enough for my tastes. That could be just me though.
