    HELP which resistor is for tweets

    3.3uf, 50v, NP +-10% size 1-1/2

    5w30 ohm Jsize 7/8

    It's not a resistor for tweeters, it's a capacitor. It goes inline on the + speaker lead. For a crossover frequency of say 5000hz with a 6db slope, a cap value of 8uf for a 4 ohm tweeter is what you want. 8000hz = 5uf, 2000 hz = 20uf, 3000hz = 13uf, 4000hz = 10uf. Use non polar mylar caps for the best results.

    This is for a basic crossover, a more advanced crossover will involve a resistor and the slope then changes to 12db / octave.
