i have heard (2) 15" platinum's with a big ported box in a Ford Explorer with a Visonik 1800 watt amp going to it. I wasnt too impressed with the SQ although it was hard to hear through all the rattling that went on. He paid around 3000$ for the entire setup which i told him i could have done for 1/2 that. IMO they are good budget SPL woofers, but not too great on the SQ side.

lol i laughed at him. i was like you payed 3000$ for all this? he was like "yeah i gotta deal on it too"..... guess you just had to be there for it to be funny.
