Where to get an amp fixed (in SoCal) ?

I have a 5 year old alpine 5 channel amp. One of the channels is working right, it gets some interferance/hissing and I don't know how to fix it.

What kind of a shop fixes things like this? Also, does anyone know any particular shops that are good?

what is the rest of your system like, you may want to upgrade for the price it will cost to fix it...

I took the amp into a shop here and they told me it had 3 bad outputs and 8 bad drivers. I don't know anything about amps but that seemed pretty bad.

I was told it will cost $210 to fix which is pretty ridiculous for an amp I can buy for half that on ebay.

Other places may be a lot cheaper as I suspect that place was pretty clueless as to what they were doing (i watched one of the technician throw a circuit board on a tv)

If it is this bad is it worth fixing it though? I mean will it sound the same with all those replacement parts.
