    New member asking some questions

Recently i just got 2003 honda accord and decide to put a new system in it and have a few questions.

-If i have 2 amps would that be to much on my battery and need a capacitor?

    -What does spl mean? heh

-what subs are better for bass, mtx 8512 or infinity kappa perfects 12'

-aftermarket headunits possible in new accords? I've heard about kits for it, but just never seen any around at stores in town

any help will be appreciated =)

Re: New member asking some questions

    - Depends on the size of the amplifiers. You won't need a capacitor regardless of current draw. That's supplied by the alternator
-Sound Pressure Level, measured in dB
-Too broad. Infinitys sound better, on average. This is dependant on box.
    -Yes it's possible.

Is this not a reasonable place to park?

depends on AMPs them selves. huge amps normally need a CAP.

    -What does spl mean? heh
Sound Pressure Level (or sometimes they call it Loudness)

-what subs are better for bass, mtx 8512 or infinity kappa perfects 12'
as far as i know, both of them r good, MTX produce good subs, so as kappa's

-aftermarket headunits possible in new accords?
    why not ?

Re: New member asking some questions

Caps are worthless, don't bother looking into them... I can't say much about either sub, but perhaps you'd like to look at your options before picking one of those.

    HU: Apline 9815
    Sub: Image Dynamics 12 v3 @ ~ 28 hz
    Sub Amp: eD NiNe.1
    Comps: Looking towards ID CTX65cs
    Comp Amp: Needed! Got 150w x2 @ 4 ohms to sell ?
