is the orion 2500d enough juice for my subs?

o.k. so i bought 2 12" xxx's dual 4 ohm and i'm going to build the re recommended sql enclosure for them, but the problem is that i dont know if the 2500d will be enough for them, so i just wanted to ask if anyone has used it on 2 12" xxx's or if they have any other suggestions

if it matters any its all going in a 1999 towncar

if you got winisd and the ts parameters for the subs then just put those into winisd, 2 woofers in a ported box, 2500 watts and see what size box you need to get full excursion out of the subs. you should be able to get them to move to full excursion with 1250 watts if you have the right box.

when did they start making DVC 4Ohm XXXs? Anywho, i tried my amp in both a 4^3 box and a 7^3 box for my pair of XXXs, the 7^3 and the 2400d together pushes the subs to their limit but not with the 4^3 box.

helpful hint, you will at least two batts to run that amp properly.

It should be enough wattage to make you happy, plus you'll be able to upgrade if you ever decide to.
I would have stuck with the standard 2.8ohm and wired them to .7...

well the recommended box is 5ft.@35hz, should i use joints in the box or just screw everything together , o yea and i specially ordered the xxx's to be dual 4 ohm for 25 bucks extra

Mojo, umm T3000 or whatever the RF amp is, a pair of Orion 1200d's strapped up @ 1 ohm hehe
