Well i've finally got around to posting pics since i dont have a digi cam so i'm using a friends. I ended up getting my wood from a local lumber yard but they ran into some unexpected delays in getting the wood so i finally got it and cut it all. Putting it all together wasnt as hard as i thought it would be, i put a bead of Liquid Nails on ALL connecting pieces of wood plus i sealed up all the inside and outside (to be safe) so its air tight....i used half a box of screws on this bad boy (not even a bomb could blow this thing apart), i put a screw every 1.25-1.5" just to be safe, and i used a countersink bit for all of them, which turned out really nice. here are the finished and installed pics minus the carpeting that i was going to get done by a local shop that burn down 3 weeks ago so i'm waiting for a little to get it done professionally.
but besides that it sounds amazing using the stock head unit i use the fading and bass control to control the subs and everything on "neutral" i'll say is almost deafening (sp?) and shakes the windows inside my house, lets just say that i cant listen to a whole song with it at this level....the SQ is like nothing i've heard (i'm sure theres much better so i'm not saying its the best but for what i have its good).....for daily driving i put the bass all the way down and fade the power to the front so i'm not knocking my brains out all day.........now for the pics.......
.....check out the clean install and almost no wires showing
ps. i'd like to thank all the people who helped design plans and give me advice.
**edit** i ended up tuning to 30Hz.
