    New Audio Setup

I don't know if this belongs in this forum or a different one, so if it needs to be moved, let me know.

Anyways, this is a project that I worked on this weekend.........What do you guys think? This is my first attempt at anything like this. Although it isn't perfect, and there are things that I would change if I were to do it again, I am pretty pleased with the way it came out.

This is a trunk of a 99 Integra sedan by the way.

Very good for a first attempt, only question i have is if those rear speakers are connected is the sub making them distort?? ie pushing the cones on them.

    Re: New Audio Setup

The speakers in the rear deck are Alpine Type R 6x9's being pushed by the amp on the right RF400a4 (along with some Infinity components in front). Most of my sound is staged up front, so the rears only produce a small amount of sound - and the sub is playing in "Reverse" mode (option on the HU a Premiere 730) meaning the sub plays in instead of out, thereby not causing any problems with the 6x9's when they are pushing out. At least that is my understanding of what should be happening in theory. haha Like I said, the rears aren't playing real loud (can hardly hear them), so I definitely cannot hear distortion on their part no matter what is actually happening back there. As a matter of fact, this is something that I didn't think about at first, and someone else made that suggestion when I was laying this setup out........so good question/point (you true audio guys don't miss anything. )
