Who can ID this amp connector?

    http://www.krystek.net/amp.jpg

I had about 2 minutes to remove this crappy little amp from my old car before it got sold. I'd like to re-use it, but I'm not sure if I can find the cable I'd need for the speaker output shown. Does anyone have any idea if I can buy this anywhere?

    It's an Alpine MRP-T306

It's a low power amp, and it wouldn't be the end of the world if I couldn't get it to work, but I'd hate to throw a perfectly good amp in the trash.

    Thanks for any help.

Open up the amp case and find which leads are the speaker wires + and - and just solder some wires directly to those corresponding leads.

Re: Who can ID this amp connector?

that looks like a standard pin connector...Alpine head units use the exact same thing to interface with the factory wiring.

Call up Alpine, get the pinout for it, and call up an electronics place online and order your connector.

Re: Who can ID this amp connector?

Ok, I called Alpine and got the number to their parts distributor. They told me that connector is no longer available. (wtf?) So I called Alpine and they sent me the pinout, which is here:

    www.krystek.net/mrp306.pdf

Now, seeing as how the parts distributor said the connector isn't available, do I need to go the soldering route or would an electronics place possibly be able to help me? What would I tell them when I call - I'm not sure what the pinout tells me besides how to hook it up with the OEM connector.

Thanks for all the help, I appreciate it.

Re: Who can ID this amp connector?

if it is in fact the same connector, go to any local shop and ask for a head unit to universal wiring harness.

Break out the soldering iron and get to work
