Icon32 I'm very new to this... need advice on plans.

ok, here is the plan to building up my system...

    Kenwood KDC-MPV7019 (mp3/CD deck) ($279)

    two Alpine 12" SWR-1241 Type R ($149 each) with Alpine Amp MRV-1507 ($489)

    or

two RF 15" RFD2215 ($209 each)... dont know what amp i could use with this though. i'm sure i'm gonna have to spend some money on the amp.

Well if your purley hip-hop the RFs are the way to go they will romp those alpines in the spl side of things but in sq cant get too much better than alpine.

Oh yea for those subs thats the power hx2 right? get a lightning audio 1000.1 they are pretty much the same thing as a bd1000.1 and they cost around 200 dollars less 249 on ebay or look into a jbl 1200.1 both good cheaper amps and reliable but the lightning audio has more features ect.. I would suggest buying subs off ebay as well.

ok, cool. i've been leaning toward the rockford 15's... the ones i looked at on onlinecarstereo.com had 150-600 RMS power. will I need to purchase an amp for each sub?
