What to power my fans with

I just bought some fans on ebay for $1 each and they light up brilliant blue just like my Hifonics amp. Anyways, I was going to mount them under the amp because I made small legs for the amp to stand up on instead of mounting on the box (rattles too much on box) or just laying on the carpet (gets to the point where it melts my carpet). So my cheap *** invested in some computer fans.

Can I get some input on how to power them?

Do you know how to wire up a relay?

    You'll be using 4 Wires.

    1. (+) Power IN from Battery or Source
    2. (+) Power Out to Fans, AMPS, Lights, Load, etc.. etc....
    3. (+) Trigger wire, use the amp turn on off your head unit
    4. (-) Negative side of the trigger wire circuit, just ground wherever is easiest.

So when you cut your head unit on (3) and (4) will complete a circuit allowing power to flow in (1) and out (2) to whatever you are wanting to power such as your fans....

When you cut the headunit off, it breaks the circuit between (3) and (4) and does not alow poer to flow....

Or to make it more simple,,,,

Looking at the Relay's bottom, there will be several (5) connections.
Look at the numbers I have listed below and hook them up as such...

85 Positive Remote turn on from Head Unit
86 Ground to where ever is convienient
87 Positive Power Input from Battery or Source
30 Positive Power Output to whatever you are powering
87a Not used in this configuration

Hope that helps some... Let me know if you have anymore questions, I might be able to help...
