    That's gonna b nasty.

One question and I am really just curious why did you go with cabinet grade 3/4?.. Is there a reason? did you just want something stronger than 3/4 mdf? reason Im asking is I just ordered 1" mdf from Lowes for like 65$ for a 4x8 and I am wondering if I would be happier with 3/4 ply. the plywood would be easier to work with i figure but that stuff is high dollar is it not?

Cabinet Grade (Birch, Oak, etc) are much more aesthetically pleasing and a bit stronger than MDF, but at the same time, a 4 x 8 sheet costs $50-$60 whereas the MDF is $35. As far as being easier to work with, not really. The main differences are MDF produces lots of fine dust (Which can be really dangerous if its a very fresh sheet) and MDF corners/edges are easier to tear up.

But back on topic... We needs videos

Thx .. I have always used mdf but I can see the ply wood being really nice if you stained it. That sheet of 1" mdf I ordered was 52.78$
