battery questions on a 7000rms amp

im going to be running 2 tantric hdd 12's off of a stetsom 7kd 12 volt version. my question is how many batteries am i going to need to run this beast off of. xs power has the d7500 that says its perfect for 6-7500w systems. can i run one of these in my back seat to the amp and get a agm for my stock car battery and not have to go and get like 7 agm batteries. im going to have 2 singer 320a alternators 1/0 gauge big 3. this is all happening in a lexus es300 withing the next 3 months. probably going to end up upgrading to 4 hdd's and run a wall in it but for now this is my plan. so help with the battery options please. i dont want to underpower this amp

    thanks guys

No way in hell ...u need around 55ah of battery per 1kw of power so u will need roughly 400ah of battery reserve ...I think u can do a good agm under the hood and 3 group 31s in back minimum..id do 4

Just to give u a idea I run a 55ah agm under the hood and 2 120ah in the back on 5krms and I drop to 14.2 with alt fully engaged..but at idle it will drop to batt resting voltage pretty quick..u do not wana test the low voltage capapbilities of. A brazilian amp unless u wana see a smoke bomb amd a fireworks show

true that but i have heard that the stetsom 7kd are beasts even on low voltage. alot of people hate on them and alot of people will never leave them and from what i have heard more of is that they are good. im thinking the xs power d3100s u think 3 of them will do fine with my setup?

3 d3100s should be fine ...u just run all ur runs from the front battery to the rear batteries then wire the rear batteries in parallel and then from rear batteries to amp ..along with the big 3 up front u should be golden

So is RMS just a new word for watts or some new unit of power?

What do people think RMS means when they use the term to describe audio equipment?

Re: battery questions on a 7000rms amp

How the hell you gonna fit 2 alts under ur hood without some major mods?? Any idea on how much a custom bracket will cost?? I know the car and there is not a lot of room to work with. Also, have you even thought about how much weight your gonna be adding to your car??? 4-6 group31's alone is gonna be atleast 300+lbs, now box, subs, amps, wires, etc.....
