    will these batteries be okay for me?

    Super Start® Platinum 34RPLT - AGM Battery | O'Reilly Auto Parts

    Are these safe to use in my hatchback? How many do I need for 3800 watts?

    what size is your alt? and what amp(s)?

    You need about 55Ah per 1Kw.

    IMO i think you will be fine, are you wiring to 1 ohm?

    Yes they're the same as the Sam's Club Duracell batteries. I have one under the hood with a 240a alt right now on a 2500w amp with no voltage drop. I'd start with 3 and see how your voltage looks after that.

    since your getting a HO alt, id probly start with 2. are you leaving your stock battery under the hood?

    If you have enough charging power you don't need batteries.. I run a single 55ah battery but have only .2v of drop at full tilt

    What kind of battery is it? Mixing battery types usually isn't a great idea..
