    Re: Will this hurt anything

I would have put the power into the remote wire terminal on the amp. You dont want thay to run all the time and i think puttimg it in there will shut it off with the car

    Re: Will this hurt anything

If it is that hot, which i'm sure it is at LR AR, i'd make a cooling amp rack running 2 fans in a push/pull configuration for each amp with a relay like timmy said. It shouldnt cost too much but its good protection for your expensive equipment.

Clip city b1tch, clip clip city b1tch. 10's, 12's, 15's, goin up in flames b1tch.
09 Sienna Subs : hdc318. Sub amp: banda viking 7k
Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS bought used from vertex audio Mids/Highs amp: PPI Phantom 900.4 - bought from dragnix
Front stage: 3 way active front stage with Massive Audio CKX tweets, alpine type R 6x9 midbass in doors + DB drive pro audio 6.5 in the kick.
320 amp Singer alt. 0 gauge Audio technix ofc all around, 2 group 31 agms in the back 250 amp hours total.

I would like a simple guide to this as well if it isn't too much trouble. Coming from car relays, it should just be a specific relay with correct handling capabilities, and a description of which of the 4/3 posts go to which power cable and the ground cables. Correct?

You can do a push pull amp rack and just wire the ground to ground and power to remote on the amp it won't hurt nothin and will turn off with the amp there's plenty power for that fan they only run off .5 amps your fine without spending money on a relay

    Re: Will this hurt anything

Yes you'll drain your battery if the fan is always on. You need to power the fan either from switched power from your ignition (run a wire from the HU power circuit) or through a relay controlled by the HU remote.

    Relay details are here:

Your stealing from a already low preout voltage in most cases that's a bad idea ..
