H.I.D. light choice?

so i just recently got a new set of projector headlights for my dodge ram 1500 2005 and I recently had 8k hid's but they didnt give out the amount of light that i was wanting... my fog lights gave out just as much / if not more than the projector H.I.D's...what would be a good option for my situation...
this is what i bought

4300k~ will put out the best light without that yellow look, 6k is a bit bluer but not as bright. Anything past 6k is useless.

My car came stock w/ 4300k and switched to 6k. When they kick the bucket I have a set of 4300's that'll go back in.


And kudos to you for not being one of those douchebags that put hids in hologen housings.

4300k-5000k morimoto bulbs and ballast. I wouldnt do the ebay projectors though. They ****. Do a retrofit.

I have 2 projector retrofits and run morimoto bulbs and ballast with 5000k bulbs.

yeah i hate having to look at those douches with the halogen hid's that blind the **** out of you... i just want something that will give me a clean look and light up the road without me having to say to myself... man i wish these would be brighter... i want my lights as bright or brighter as my friends bmw projectors...

yeah i already have them in my truck... but the hid's are ****... do u have or know of anyone with retrofit projector/halo ring lights? cuz thats what i want

6000k FTW

Angel Eyes on any car or truck other than a BMW make me laugh every time I see them. I usually point and laugh actually. Sometimes they get mad, But usually they just look away like they know what they have done wrong

Of course this is happening as I drive by in actual BMW with real angels eyes designed by BMW for Bimmers.

now is there a way that i could build my own light housing?? like build the frame of it... i would light to maybe have two projectors in one housing as well as still having my high beams and turning signal in the housing...? willing to pay somone else to do it if they know how?

yeah my only thing for find the right lights is i dont know what to look for... i know the lights that go in the projectors are going to be H1.... but idk if i want 35watt or 55watt ballasts...i just want something stupid bright....

+1 for DDM I Order stuff from them all the time.
Grab a set of 6000K from them there like 15.00 a pair if you already have the ballast's in your housings
I'm installing a 6K 35W kit in my fogs right now.

ballast in my housing?? i do not believe i have that... they do offer a 5k... would u choose that over the 6k or is the 6k a more desireable brightness

They suck. Ive owned 3 kits and all were horrible.

I bought a set for my Dodge Caliber. They guarunteed me they were compatible. The first harness I had worked. After 2 months my headlights wouldnt come on. Lose connection in the harness. Got it replaced under warranty. Second one they sent me was garbage. Lights flickered really bad because they changed manufacturers. They refused to warranty it. I told them I bought a set that worked fine. I dont care if they switched vendors or not. I want what I paid for in the first place. A product that worked. I gave them 2 options. Refund my money for the entire set because they couldnt warranty what I originally purchased in a working fashion or get me a harness that worked. They had to hand fabricate a harness that worked. Well that harness didnt ever work correctly. At random times my car wouldnt start. Sometimes it would act like it was going to start, Id pull the key out, and it would continue to try and turn over. All of this was due to the HID controller. They refused to warranty the harness again and basically said FU.

I will never deal with them again nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Here's the link for the bulbs if u just want to use your existing ballasts on the ebay housing. I'm guessing it's a 35W
Select 6000K and 35W from drop down.

Replacement HID Bulbs, Pair

Now if you want stupid bright get a 55W kit with the bulb you need. And replace the existing ballast on the housing u already have.
