yea with the dd1 you either like it or dont i personally use it in all the setups i do and haven't had one problem

Isn't that the key to its measuring ability? I would assume the preamp gain is raised by the "dyno" until the "built in dd1" reads 1% thd, and then it calculates wattage at that point.

You could easily make that manual and use a scope. I hate DD-1 and won't use any tools that include it.

Why? I'm sure you have good reason, but video of it side by side with an oscope seems to show it doing it's job.

yes why? lololololol. I think its a pretty neat but as usual, over priced. . . and I haven't even watched the video yet.
