New car audio company - c2 audio on the rise

I saw this go down on FB. He was gonna name it 'Bamma Audio' and had logo's drawn up and stuff. Caught a bunch of flack on that one. Then he decided to let people submit possible names for the line and offered 2 new 12's as a prize for a winning submission. No prize was awarded and all entries were ignored. There were some good ones too. Then he chose XTC and even though someone already has a line of subwoofers called XTC. When he posted that C2 was gonna be the name he once again caught the flack over it being too close to B2, but ignored all that as well. This all happened in like an 8 hour period and just kind of struck me as odd for the owner of a company to act kinda spacey like that.

I just looked at CSG's FB page again and all those posts but the naming contest are gone?

As far as the subs...why not price them the same as the competitions subwoofer and let quality and performance dictate the better value?

B2 is an overseas based company and C2 is a USA based company so no legality issues there. No one has a patent on lvl's of subs.

But I mean for real, is this a joke? Is this dude a massive troll? Bamma audio, XTC, C2, Level 2, 3, I mean really? Come on. If he can't even think of different names, I doubt his subs are that much different.

rt 2 of the new C2 Audio Entry Level Prototype.... For $129 woofer our C2 Audio sub has proven itself to be a Great entry level woofer. We are loving the x-max. In this test the woofer is in 2.25 cubes tuned at 32hz. We are using of a vfl-100.1 @ 1ohm at max unclipped output pushing a little over 1200 watts.Sorry for poor video quality on this one it was late...

Agreed, Other than in person demonstration and you tube, how else will you know unless it's purchased. He's good friends with Brandon from Sundown and has put alot of time into the C2 Audio line. Yes the name and past month have had their hiccups and issues but it's getting worked out and I think we will be very happy with this line. I will be picking up one of the "formerly level 2" 12's for my Dodge Nitro.

What time did he put into the sub design? Just curious as JLD had them on display at CES along with many others as an "off the shelf" driver.

I'm not saying he didn't get them in and play around with them...or even adjust the coil or spider...just curious what was done that I (or others) can not see.

He's been working on this since last summer. Took his time making it what he wanted to get it the way he wanted before full on production.
