    nicce, ok so far im getting some ideas. My subs are so loud and overpowering my 6x8s like crazy.

    fb6.1? is that a brand?
    your going to want to amp the speakers even with a small 2 channel
    US Acoustics USX 2080 | eBay

    would do wonders to figure that in yuor budget plus a nice set of 100 dollar components in the front and the 50 dollar aura's for rear fill and you will be golden

    I do have a small small Kicker amp OP... I was thinking about selling my Scan Speak 5.25 mids as well

    Now that I think about it I have some passive cross overs too so you could get some tweets and have a nice passive set with my Mids...
