slow response when i turn my system up

so my system sounds amazing. i just put in 2 alpine type Rs and Hifonics Brutus 1200 watt amp. the subs are wired down to 2 ohms. it is hooked up to the stock radio with a hi lo converter.

but... wen i turn it up there is a delay in sound. when it hits really hard its like a japanese anime. any ideas. could it be because i used 4 gauge instead of 0 or could it be because it is wired to 2 ohm. im pretty sure its not the subs but idk.

what does that mean

Should be a setting on the amp that you can flip the phase 180 degrees, if it doesnt have a phase switch etc just switch the + postive and - negative that is going into the amplifier to switch polarity.

If this does not help, you need to get a better LOC because the one you're using is prob crap.
