Nahh for one that would too small for L7's and two if you are looking for an SQ system that is the last sub I would use... In that space two Sundown SA 8's, Dayton HO 10's, Tc sounds Epics would be god choices...

What sizes does your car fit and where are they located? I am not that familiar with the older Impalas...

well i just meant in general
like tweeters sound best at eye level while 6x9 can be placed near the feet lol idk
i can fit 2 6x9 in the rear window, a 6 1/2 in the kick panels, and i can mold tweeters into the body where ever they sound best.
will that be the best sq? or is their speakers i dont even know about

I would get a deck that is 3 way active capable or look into a JBL Ms8 processor... Do the a set of tweets in the pillars, 6.5" mids in the kicks, and some 6.5's or 6x9's in the rear for fill

that ms-8 will be in my car, thats the kinda stuff im looking for.
it looks like it handles all the sound, great.
do you think tweets right behind the front seats (for the backseat passengers) would be overkill?

It would really screw with your sound stage... The point is the make it seem like the music is coming from your hood

oo ok, see i didnt know about the sound stage.
is there certain qualities i should look for in, lets say, a tweeter..
like an inception tweeter within a tweeter, within a tweeter, haha
maybe ohm wise or what its made of performs better/lasts longer

Go with a component set since that will be the easiest way to get a good match...

Most all of your questions can be answered here especially brand wize... With 2000 to use you could have a very nice setup but gotta be smart with it
