Dmm number

So 3 people have gave me 3 different answers.. I have a mono amp 1200X2
So I did 1200X2= 2400 Than took the SQ of 2400 and got about 48..
Someone else got 69 and someone else got a 17

it does 1200 at 2ohm or 1200 x 2 channels?

At 2 ohms

Volts = SQRT (500W x 2 ohms)
Volts = SQRT (1000)
Volts = 31.6VAC

This is from your link @neo_styles
It did Watts X ohms first than the SQRT
If I did the Sqrt of 500 than multiplied it by 2 I would get 44.7

I'm doing the best I can not to vent right now, but we were handling this by text. I'd appreciate it if you demonstrated more tact.

You're making it harder than it is.

(rms of amp x ohm load)
take that number and sqrt it.
