Companies that have made car tube amps:

PPI, US Amps, Butler, Phaze Audio, Milbert, Dr Crankenstein and I am sure that there are others.

As to whether not they are any good, it's all personal preference. They are not efficient and they get hot.

    Tru Technology also makes them.

Are they good? Do you have an anechoic chamber with $10,000 speakers to listen to it with? If not, I would be suprised if you noticed a serious difference in your car. Don't waste your money.

    Re: vaccum tube amps?

They were Tubedriver amps. Same amps as the Butler and Phaze, but with the PPI name on them.
