I doubt they'll give it to him. As far as they're concerned if his car's not in their bay right now, they lost the sale.

prices sound close to being right for a shop , but you can get better ,they'll prolly give you a cheap amp kit thats not even 8 gauge wire . the subs are of at best ,but the amp is junk ,and you should never use a pre fab box unless you have no choice
300 for both subs. 100 for the box. 250 for the amp and 100 for parts and labor
They're cheaping out on install parts. A good amp wiring kit will set you back somewhere around 40-60 bucks, so I doubt they're only asking 40 bucks in labor.

Also, you're being ripped off on the box and the amp. Only real deal you're getting is on the subs and, even then, not by much
yea your getting burned ,i wouldn't go back there
i see your in dallas im jsut NE of austin would be willing to help you install this stuff if you were closer :)
how is he getting burned on a kenwood 9105D. That thing usually goes for $300+ retail.
I also don't understand how kenwood is junk.....
Kenwood KAC-9105D (kac9105d) 1800W Class D Monoblock Amplifier

$300 really? and no kenwood amps are not very good, not for the price.
$100 for labor on that job!? Stay far away from that place.
I dont wanna praise or crusifie the shop but the sops around here are almost double the price you can get on the internet. Also he's making money on the components so he may not charge as much for labor. Those prices may be high but not ridiculous as far as shops go. At least if something goes wrong you have someone to scream at.
If your not capable of doing the work yourself, ask around and see if you can find a few people that have had the shop install stuff. And go from there.
If you can do it yourself you can get a lot better equipment for that money online. Especially used.

these subs are apearently not even broken in yet. he said they are about 2 months old. i heard them and they sound great. so i looked at some amps at the pawn shop and i found these. the guys selling me the subs has a hifonics amp hooked up to them right now. so which of these would be better. i couldnt find anything about the memphis audio amp. anyone seen one of these before. the hifonics is 1700 watts. will that go well with the subs.
the hifonics will work with the alpines.
whats the memphis for?
I didn't see anything about speakers.
and how much are the subs.
