Thanks for the help everyone, I set my sub to 10 on the HU and that straightened the DMM out!

Quick question. Once you set your volume at 80% or use an oscope, your HU wont clip even if you go up on the eq and source level adjusters right?
Dont want to go up on any HU levels if it will clip
And when using an android, wont the phone clip?? I need the signal/volume from my phone to be clean too. Ill google in the meantime.

You want to set the gain on the max settings you will use. If you adjust other settings higher after you set the gain, you will start to clip.

If you turn bass up then yes it will probably clip assuming you set it with the bass normal.
