ultimate midbass...
i'm looking for a midbass driver with some serious punch. i'm looking for up front bass. i want to hear and feel the kick-drum crack me in the chest. everybody always refers me to the Exodus Anarchy, but i dont want to build a self enclosure in the door. i will deaden the crap out of the door but i just dont have time off work to practically rebuild a whole door. currently, i have a brand new leviathan lll that hasnt been powered. as far as mids and hi's go... i need a help in that dept. too. i'll worry about subs later. for music, i listen to mostly metal. i want it loud and of course clean. budget? dont care but dont get too crazy lol

Re: ultimate midbass...
The exodus will work "IB" in the doors, just won't get the most out of them that way.
I ran my AA carbon fibers IB down to 63Hz and they had a LOT of midbass, sounded like a few 10" subs in the trunk, seriously. I had 2 mids per door. Had to deaden the crap out of them to stop flex/rattling.

Re: ultimate midbass...
kick drum is sub bass, a mid range driver is going to produce the "click" of the mallet hitting the drum itself, but the kickdrum sound itself usually falls somewhere between 40-55hz. if you want to really feel the kickdrum, tune your box accordingly.

Re: ultimate midbass...
I want bass up front... That takes multiple drivers in the doors or mids in the back. Any driver suggestions other than the anarchy?

Re: ultimate midbass...
Run your sub cross up and time align it.
Although, HAT is legendary for their midbass.
