    new toys installed..reviewed and pics

ok i will start with the review.

im not a sq guy but i have toi say out of all the comps. i have owned these have to be the best.(focal,jl audio, kicker, eclispe)

the mids are outstanding sounding like 8" in my doors. i played many diff. types of music and they held up very well on eveything.

the tweets are a lil harsh but the was fixed with EQ. they are bright and very crisp.

these can keep up with my H2 12's and 2500d with no problem (they are now the only speakers in my car for highs and mids)

the build on these are great...think mini H2..lol

i love that the mids have push down conneters to hold the wires. and i like the fact that the set is bi-amp able.

    ok on to the pics

    and a max movement pic

Ok, first off, nice. Secondly, I have that car (or a sister car, mine is a 2k Dodge Stratus ES). How does it sound with the tweeters mounted like that? I am thinking of doing that with my CDT CL-61's. I used to have them ghetto rigged on the dash with double faced tape, but now I want a cleaner install.

I have the flush mounting kit, but is there a way to get the speakers underneath the stock tweeter grills? I realize that it will be much harder to rotate them for imaging and what-not, but it would be nice to have a super-stock install like that.

Since we have similar cars, what else do you run? I'm just curious. I like to setup nice sounding equipment on a budget, it's fun, and a challenge.

I used to run a digital designs 9512e series sub in a 3.33 cubes ported/tuned to 28hz. Other than the fact it took up the entire trunk, it was mad loud with the rear seat down.

Do you have (or plan to have) rear fill? I was considering running RE 8's in the rear deck, but I'm not sure. For now, I can just run the FIE settings on my deck so my 6x9's only play 250hz and lower, so I'm fine for now.

Anyways, it's just nice to finally find someone with my car, and be able to bounce information back and forth.

Feel free to email me: [email protected]

    Thanks.

    T.J.

p.s. - You never told us what comps you are running...

Maybe you should tell everyone what your review is on?

Is this not a reasonable place to park?
