Once I see some clamps tests on a few alts I'll be a believer and so far those have not shown up on the forums...
Because they werent happy with their other alts. DCs never show up, a lot of people have had problems with Mechman alts, and lately, Ive been seeing quite a few people having problem with Singer alts as well.

Never had an EA alt, BUT i have seen many threads with complaints about them as well. Im just saying guys, before anything negative is said, Did everyone want to see a clamped mechman when he first strted up?? or singer?? did everyone act this way when singer first opened up??

It may honestly just be me, but it seems like there are alot of questions being asked about tenney and his alts, but so much emphasis wasnt put on the "other guys" when they first came about. Thats just my veiw and i dont want to start an arguement whatsoever

Every time a new company has ever came into this industry they are questioned. They stay that way until a creditable source proves otherwise.

That is just the industry standard.

As for a reference, I contacted him early this week about an alt that I planned on testing. I still have yet to get a reply.

gmonk you seem sensible, so tell me how they can have a DC alt that they switched out for a tenney, but then you say DC's never show up

I will agree that DC can take forever to show up as I've bought 4 alts from them and all have taken longer then I expected. But I've also had team mates (with GM vehicles) that get them in 1-2 weeks.

I've seen issues with mechman and singer first hand, so they're not on my list. Ran an EA for a few years and it worked fine.

I'm interested in what tenney has to offer and hope to see some clamp tests for various alts soon

I am still waiting on my Tenney 270a alt been over 2 weeks but I am sure he is busy. I had a EA alt die in less than a year. So I hope this one fairs better.

He has a BF deal going also. I went ahead and upgraded from a 270amp to 350amp alt for another $75. Pushes me back about a month but I can wait.
