That looks nice. Does it have an internal fan as well? That one on the outside doesn't look like it would cool that well if it was the only one. Also, do all his alts come with bare wires like that, or can you get adapters? Looks good though, I'll have to check them out.

I wanted the biggest alt i could possibly fit. SOOOO, in ordder to make that happen, my stock harness will need to be cut off, and just tie the bare wires u see in the photo together. They are color coded , so its actually dummy proof. Like i said in the op, I initially orderte4d a 300a from him. Then 3 days later my stock alt took a shitt on me comibng home from work. Not only did he get me my alt 3 days later, he sent me a beefier alt, beacuse my parts for teh original alt werent in yet. Stator and something else. SO I can say without a doubt that the my customer service experience was the best ive ever had. He went above and beyond, not only by getting my order filled within a week, but sending me something that is even more powerful that i asked for.l

As to him going out of buisness. Yes true. Anything xcan happen, BUT, if everyone has been satisfied with their alt, i dont see why that would be an issue. Thanks everyone for the compliments and please even if u are looking for an alt. Hit him up and get a quote.

Tenney Alternator is local to me and is a great businessman. I will be running one of his products soon enough.

Quite a few times Ive seen him come to shows and install customer's alts for them at the show free of charge. He has been doing everyones car around here lately and everyone is loving the product. Everyone is switching over from Excessive, Mechman, DC, Singer, etc, and having nothing but good things to say.

Why would they switch if they already have a good/working HO alt on the car?

Once I see some clamps tests on a few alts I'll be a believer and so far those have not shown up on the forums...

My buddy has had nothing but problems from the minute he ordered his tenny alt. first it took like two months to get to him. It was supposably too powerful to bench test on his bench(200amps lmao). Then his pully keeps eating belts. So now he had to send it back and wait even longer. Oh and his plug was wrong the first time he received it. This may be a rare case but d@mn.

I have roughly .4 drop on my singer alt with my electrical. Tenny can't even make an alt for my care nearly that size. Why would I switch over?

Howe long ago was this??? I recieved mine in 7 days fed-ex. Ordered on a Tuesday and it came in the next tuesday. Everyone i know on FB has gotten theirs in in less than 2 weeks. and quite a few have gotten them in a week like me. That may have just been one of those things man. PLease dont bash him just for 1 person has a complaint. Not saying you are bashin in any way. BUT, i know his little baby was sick not to long ago. Like hospital;ized sick. not just a stuffy nose

If your completely satisfied with your, then heck no i wouldnt switch. BUT, he is offering trade ins for people that arent satisfied with the customer service and performance of "BIG NAME ALT COMPANIES". Im just saying. 3 years ago, evryone was all on Iraggis nutsachk because Meade had em. Now u wont find 10 people that run those alts. WHY?? bescause of poor buisness practices, flatout bad customer service, and poor performance from their alt.

If I had a shittyy alt i paid good money for, the question isnt "Why7 would I switch to Tenney??" the question is "WHY WOULDNT I SWITCH TO TENNEY?"

All of thios info if my opinion, adn noone please get upset.
