    Re: Ridiculous question

You can try and take which ever enclosure is not built out of particle board(I remember one of them was) and try and work with it.

In most cases with such a simple enclosure it is faster and not to much more to get an enclosure for the new subs.

If your a dead set on trying, just try and take it apart and see what happens. The real issue I see is that those two enclosures are pretty small in net volume and they would need to be enlarged.

    Re: Ridiculous question

That's not a ridiculous question compared to "Can I bridge my head unit to power my 2 12" subs located in my A-pillars?".

So many assholes... so few bullets.

    Re: Ridiculous question

It all depends on your ingenuity and your wood working skills, OP. Anything is possible, if you have the right size pieces of wood and you can figure out how to make it fit together, do it to it!

    post pics if/when you try.

But, obviously it will not be optimal and building/buying a properly built enclosure is the ideal way to go.

    Good luck
