Just to let you know, JBL was being sarcastic. Listen to my advice, and listen carefully.
Your system will sound like crap, because you obviously don't care about wiring, the install/enclosures, or anything that's actually important. With that said, go buy a case of Funky Pups, tape up a nice cardboard box, steal an amp from Best Buy, grab some wires from your garage, and go have fun.

However, if you want to learn a little bit, and you're over 14 yrs old, PM me and I will point you to the right direction for this thing called "research".
Then again, you're the type of person that will end up waking me up as I try to sleep at night because you blast your rattly system at night in residential areas.
Oh, and to be honest, the brand/model of subwoofer that you decide to purchase ALMOST means nothing.

Yeah, I just realized that I was pretty mean with my last couple of posts. I'm just crabby, don't take it personally.

You won't need 1000 watts to be loud. You won't get a quality 1000 watt amp for 150 bucks. Be careful when you read specs. Often times manufacturers will state 1000 watts but that is really peak power handling. Not what it can handle constantly (RMS power) which is more important. Also, don't over look a good set of speakers and a nice headunit. These are important for sound too. Bass is nice, but only having bass is gay.
