Thoughts on new build.

Well I've decided I will not be running my hcca 12's in my upcoming build. Mainly because I don't want to upgrade my alt and all that good stuff. Anyway here is my plan.
Stock Alt (140a)
Stinger spv70 under the hood
Stinger spv70 in the back.
"Big 3" done in 1/0
Pioneer DEH-P7400HD head unit. (3 4v preamps)
IA 6.5 coaxils in doors.
IA 6x9 in rear panels. (Pair)
Crescendo FT-1 SE tweets (x2) in dash.
JL JX360/4 for mids/highs
21" IA Death Penalty
Crescendo bc2200 @ 1 ohm
7.5 cu net 33 hz
This is a daily setup. Occasional competing. (On music)

Any input/suggestions?

Vehicle is a 97 gmc jimmy 2 door.

So dp or hccas? My bad read that wrong lol

Lol. Switching from hccas to 21" DP.

I never tried the dp 21 but I had a 21" warden in the same truck and loved it.

You used the warden daily? If so how was it playing music? I've always preferred loud *** single sub set ups and with a sens rating of 95 I'm thinkin the DP should get plenty loud on 2k+

One of the most musical subs I had in my Jimmy. Very responsive for so much cone area. It picked up double kick drums like an 8" sub. Also extremely efficient. It was well over 150db on 3k. And was over 145@25hz

I'd like to see that in person bet it would slam used to run a lot of single sub setups

Nice! I've heard the same about the double kick drums on the DP.

Jimmy/Blazer's love big subs. Should be a fun build for sure, and should get down rather nicely.
