Uhhhh......huh?![]()

somebody told me to look at coils when trying to pick a sub.. the question if you didn't guess was what is better
uh...
im trying to decide between two speakers that are pretty much the same in rsm but voice coils are set up different im asking out of the two choices is there anyway to tell what is better

What two subs? What are your goals? How much power are you running? What enclosure are you using? What are your listening habits?

well, it's like "full-size blazer vs. 22" rims. which is better?" dual 3 is the impedance configuration, and 3, sounds like 3" diameter. i think what you were directed to look at was the impedance configuration, and power level, to match your amp. i'm taking it you are comparing a jl w6/7 to something else? not many d3 subs out there. if you have a 1.5ohm stable jl amp, then it would kind of match. however, some amps, you loose a little rms at 1.5, and some you don't. what is the configuration of the aluminum coil? what sub is it?
*IF I have forgotten to exchange feedback, please let me know*
i buy broken amps....
No, i will not "gift" paypal. please do not even make it awkward by asking. if the fees are an issue, I am usually inclined to add them. unless you have discount elsewhere, shipping is through usps flat rate, through usps parcel post, or through the roof..... i am in alaska. thanks
