what do you think (or hopefully know) would be the most power you can run through car audio on a Jeep Liberty's stock electrical? i have 2 12's currently pushing 1100 watts at 1 ohm and my headlights dim occassionally. i'd like to trade those 12's for new 12's, or possibly a 15.. but i want to make sure it's not gonna beat my electrical to shit

A new subwoofer wont change how much power your currently drawing enless you change the OHM load your amplifier is seeing, or swap out amplifiers. There is no way of knowing "how many watts" your cars stock electrical can run, only how many extra amps can it pull. how efficient your amplifier is, is what determines how much power you can run on stock electrical.
For example a really high end 1000 watt monoblock may only draw half the amps as a budget 1000 watt monoblock. Even though both amps are putting out the same power one has to draw twice as much power from your cars stock electrical system to do so.

well right now i'm pushing 1100 watts @ 1 ohm, at 2 ohms my amp would perform at 700 watts. i just don't want to lose that much power to run at a more efficient wattage
