As I have stated in the past, I am by no means good at woodworking. I will not be building my box. I am having it done by the same shop that built my last one.
With that out of the way, I just ripped the Solo Xs and their box out, and my local shop (props to Audio Magic) has the truck, where the owner is currently working on my box for my 2 15 TRF motors w/ TSNS soft parts.
Box is 15.6 cu, 13.2 after displacement, 200 sq. in of port tuned to 36hz. I hope to run them on 6k of my Warhorse, but since the box is absolutely enormous, I will start at about 4k and work my way up until I find just what these subs will handle in such a large enclosure.
As is customary with ext cab trucks, subs will face forward and the slot port will face up.
I would like to note these are more of Psycoacoustics creations, and would like to thank him as these things are beautiful and look mean. I can't wait to see what they're capable of.
You stay classy, San Diego; but most of all, thanks for stopping by.
