Yeah i've been using single subs for a while now...definitely miss my DD 3515

I love DD, currently running a 2512, but it doesn't play the lows as well as I want.

AQ 1200 or the B2 Quatro seem to be the best amp choices so far for going with the pair of 12's...if I do that is. anyone know the actual RMS on those amps because as far as I know they are both under rated.
Best woofers that are 600rms each?

Still kind of liking the idea of 1 15 though...hmm..found what looks to be an amazing deal on a custom made 15" woofer...but need an amp that will do 1500-1800rms at 2 ohms for that sub.. still left with MANY MANY choices.

A lot of it is going to come down to your box... 2 12's or 1 15 can both get the job done. I'm going to a single 18" setup myself. See my signature for my box designer or choice, there are other good designers on this forum as well.

That b2 amp has been clamped at 1800+ at 1ohm. I would go with 2 12 they will get llouder then a single 15. Look it tantric sounds also, obsidian is also a good 600rms sub to look into. The gcon would also be a great choice.

An AQ1200D is not enough power for a pair of SA-12's, they need atleast 800rms to get loud.

Thanks for those links, I am really liking that amplifier quite a bit. Dont know too much about the AB woofers though. Care to give any insight?

The AB TNT's are underrated and take good power. A good sound to them. A pair would be perfect for the little B2 Quota. IMO, I would rather have two 12's than one 15 on the same power, provided ample space is available for the right box...but, sometimes a single is what's needed to get the right sub/port configuration...I mean, hell, I run 2 15's in a Suburban so what the heck do I know?..lol..the XFL 15 might be a better fit and would work real good on the B2 as well...that is just a neat little amp for the $.

Okay so now I have decided that I am going with 2 12's for sure.
I have limited the 12's down to either Sundown SA-12's, American Bass TNT 12's, or DC level 2's.
What is the best choice in your opinion?

Now an amp that will for sure do 1200-1500 or so RMS @ 1 ohm.

I have heard that the AB amps are amazing so that is most likely the choice I will make, VFL 100.1

If its a 1st gen TC and you want to keep the spare tire go with a single 15. If you can lose it go two 12s. If you don't have $$ for a HO alternator keep it below 800 watts. Been there done that

I've ran a few amps in my tC. With about 1200 rms it was nearly cutting off with the big 3 a group 34 yellow top under the hood and two group 51s in the back. We only charge at 13.8. You don't have much wiggle room from the start. That's computer controlled, no way to override it.

Thats a good idea, that is exactly around the price range I am wanting to spend for the subs + amp, however to get my vehicles electrical for that amp up to where it needs to be...im looking at spending... $549 for a 270 alternator...idk much about alternators though. And im sure around $400 or so for a battery...fml
